Is the theory about intimidation/out of league true on dating apps?

Edit: Hello, I've come to reword my post.

I'll generally summarize (by the way this only applies to dating apps):

For those of you who are aware you're attractive- "traditionally" speaking (aka fit/thin and pretty): do you feel as though you get a lot of attention from people specifically on dating apps? Or do people think you get more likes than you really do?

For those of you who don't fit into the box of "very traditionally attractive"- do you find it hard to swipe on women that you personally find veryy attractive because of intimidation / feeling like they won't give you the time of day?

This is for research purposes on my part. Thank you for input. Society sucks.

i am pretty dang hot and i do get a lot of attention on dating apps. I’ve stopped using them tho because I never end up responding to anyone (due to nothing but pure anxiety) and I fear it makes me seem like an asshole.
