Clothing brands/stores suggestions for bigger girl?

I'm wanting to get some new clothes but I average between size L and 2xl depending of the brand so I find myself struggling to find clothes that are comfy and make me feel good about my body so I was wondering if anyone had brands/stores suggestions? Preferably available in Canada. Right now I almost only wear plains t-shirt and jeans so I want to expand my wardrobe and try new things! I don't have a specific style so I'm open to every suggestion!
