Recently in humid hide out of shed

My Leo finished shedding a few days ago. I came home and he was bright and shiny again. I saw a little shed on his tail tip that came off easily a day later after some gentle rubbing.
However today he’s started hiding out in his humid hide for the first time and rubbing his face against stuff. Any clue why?
