Post Body

My stepson has a leopard gecko and his last 2 sheds seen to have stuck to his face. I had tried after the first shed to get the excess off but he has been super aggressive (from the pet store even) he went even let you get close to him. I tried today and he bit me like crazy. I put soft gloves on and once he realized what i was doing he remained calm. Anyway, I used a few cuetips (a few because once they got soggy I switched them out so they wouldn't get fiber material on him) anyway, I'm trying to pull this back gently. It doesn't seem to hurt him.

One spot is covering his eye. I'm honestly afraid to rub anymore because I dint want him to die, or drop his tail etc. What do I do!? Will he end up blind? A lady at petsmart told me if they go for to long like that, there eye can become infected and necrosis? Or something? I thought after the first shed, during his 2nd it would come off with the existing shed. That didn't happen. We don't have money right now for a vet visit. (I feel like we are horrible pet parents) any options? Ideas? Should I keep rubbing the shed if it doesn't seem like it's hurting him?

For now I put him back in his tank, so he can settle down.
