Hi, all.
Let me get this out of the way -- I do NOT hate AI art or those who use it. I'm not here to accuse you or the tool of stealing.
I simply want to know what Leo AI is trained on for its art. I remember reading it has its own unique art style, and that's cool -- but how?
Is it trained on art made from consenting artists, or art in the public domain? Forgive me if I sound ignorant. I haven't studied up too much on how AI uses art, except for that whole drama with DeviantArt wanting to use art posted on their site for their tool.
I can't seem to find anywhere whether or not it uses public or private art -- even after contacting support, I never got a reply.
I myself use it to make thumbnails of my OC for my YouTube content. A lot of people outright hate AI art in general, but I've been told some are okay with it as long as it doesn't "steal someone's art or art style".
Again, no hate to you, so please, no hate at me. It's a genuine question and if you can sum it up for me, I'd really appreciate it.
