Hey Leicester! 👋
Just got back home after months of being on the road, bouncing between tournaments all over the world. It’s honestly wild how much you can get used to traveling—different time zones, hotel rooms, airport food (ugh), and of course, that constant adrenaline rush of matches. But let me tell you, there’s something special about coming back home.
I’m not sure if it’s the fact that there’s nothing quite like sleeping in your own bed, or if it’s just the Leicester air, but I’ve really missed the simple things here — like the local pub banter (shoutout to The Swan on the High Street!), and yeah, the fact that Leicester coffee just hits differently. No idea how you guys do it, but it's like there's some secret ingredient here that no fancy café in Paris or Melbourne(!) can replicate. 😂 I could also seriously use a proper Leicester dinner after living on protein bars and match food for the last few months. 😂
Also, does anyone else feel like Leicester is like the best-kept secret when it comes to UK cities?
