I'm planning on 100% every Lego game. Should I also play the DS and 3ds versions?

I'm going to play all the Lego games on Xbox and 100% and achievements. Starting with complete saga. Should I play the DS and 3ds games too since there different? I already have Pirates and lotr on 3ds and Lego Batman on DS. Also I know some have both 3dS and Ds versions. Should I get and play both?
