How should I go about selling a large LEGO collection?

Times are tough and I've decided to sell my LEGO collection, but I'm not sure how to go about doing it. I sold off a lot of the minifigs on eBay, because it was easy, but I don't know what to do with my tubs and tubs of bricks. My first thought was to turn to Lugnet for advice/local buyers, but I see the forums there have pretty much died out since I last visited.

I would prefer to sell them all at once to a single buyer (locally), but the only way I will ever get anything close to a fair price is with another AFOL.

Anyway, advice?

EDIT: I am in the Denver/Colorado Springs area, for what that's worth.
