Any tips on moving LEGO sets?

I am currently moving out of my apartment and I have a few LEGO sets that I am worried about moving. One specifically, the UCS millennium falcon. It’s such an odd shape, also it’s not the most structured piece. Should I just try and find a box that fits, bubble wrap and newspaper as best I can and just hope? Or does someone have any experience and can help.
