Collecting my jar of extras

Post Body

I wanted to share my jar of all the extra pieces that I have left over from my sets. I know other people have shared theirs before, but I’m proud of my collection as treating myself to the occasional set is a big step in me valuing myself and my self care.

Some of them are from 3 in 1 so I wanted something where I could still find the pieces if I wanted to change around my sets but with a lid so if I knock it over I don’t lose anything lol. It’s about 6cm tall, glass, and originally held a custard dessert. It’s nearly half full which is not too bad considering I only returned to Lego 2 years ago and only have 6 sets (3 botanicals, 2 creator and the Inside Out 2 cubes). I have a box of mixed Lego classics for work and wanted to also make sure these pieces stayed separate. Bonus points, it makes such a lovely, satisfying noise when I shake it. And yes I used a play on Christina Perri’s Jar of Hearts for my title.
