A 29x29 QR code (like the one here) can store up to 77 alphanumeric characters. That's more than enough for a URL. This one isn't even shortened, it uses the full regular URL, which is only 43 characters, and it only has the lowest level (L) of error correction. They could have had level Q of error correction on this and still fit it on the 29x29 QR code.
This actually could have fit on a 25x25 QR code with (L) error correction, which can handle up to 47 alphanumeric characters.
