Financial Asset seizure (U.S)
Post Body

Under what circumstances can the government (federal and/or state) SEIZE assets both liquid and material from an entity such as a person who owns a business in the realms of, say Amazon? I know freezing assets usually precedes federal action like DEA and FBI/DOJ investigation, but can the government decide to just seize a business's assets and the assets of its owner(s) wholesale?
