I'm pretty sure this girl is just trying to scam me, but I'm just curious.

I live in the US, matched with a girl in Ghana. We've been talking for a few weeks and every now and then she'll bring up how she needs money for her internet so she can "keep sending me pictures and videos".

Yeah, sounds like a scam. I haven't sent her any money and told her that I won't. Then she said that both her parents are dead and that the only way their lawyer will let her "claim the money" (apparently they were millionaires) is if she marries someone she truly loves.

She hasn't asked for money since I told her that I won't give her any, but she still seems into me. I'm still pretty sure this is a scam but I have no idea what laws are like in Ghana. I wouldn't mind being with her if she is who she says she is and that this is all true, but I don't want to get fooled.

Is anyone here familiar with Ghana law?
