Hi there, I'm working full time in a med device company. I recently did a bit of Overtime to prepare for the Christmas.
My wages were paid Thursday and I found a good bit missing.
My employer has not paid me my bank holiday double time but has paid the public holiday (8h@2x is missing) and shows no sign of fixing this, despite me informing them of this mistake
They are also refusing to pay me for 7.5h at the Saturday rate of 4h(@1.5x) and 3.5h (@2x) total 13h because I broke the working time act by working 9h on the Sunday too. My supervisor messaged me asking what I wanted to do with those hours and I said I wanted to get paid. She replied to me saying that she can pay only 9h @2 and the rest has to be in put as time in lieu, I did not consent to this and my contract does not say anything about this 9h cap on OT. The total figure missing from my wages just received is €446.83.
My employer has has multiple payroll issues this year and I've been on the bad end of at least 3 of them, not including this event. I was suspended with pay when I voiced my concern and when I fought the suspension and the legality of it the investigation just went away.(me and the payroll were alleged to have been in an incident and only I received suspension) Dated 27/june/23
I suppose basically I'm wondering what I should do or how I should approach it, I'm frustrated looking through various legislation and acts as it doesn't make sense.
My employer has a habit of not playing by the law and making their own rules up as they go along. I just need some help to get me on my way.
