Ex Wife called cops claiming I broke self isolation when I picked up my daughter

Post Body

Hi everyone

My ex and I have been divorced for 8 years we have a 9 year old who lives 40% with me. I travel for work and came back to Toronto March 25 from New York (I drove). The ex decided to keep my daughter from me over Easter weekend claiming I have Covid 19 since NY is a hotspot ( I worked outside of New York City). I brought in an emergency motion and the judge ordered that our daughter will spend 10 days and the regular schedule must be maintained since there is no danger to our daughter.

One day after our daughter is with me she called the cops and said our daughter has a cold and runny nose and not feeling well. The cops came and said they have opened a case (the case number looks like a domestic case). I called Telehealth and talked to a board certified pedretician who after doing an examination over video said it's dust allergies. It has been 24 hours and our daughter does not have any symptoms. Clearly the ex was lieing. Can I do anything so this does not happen again ? Is it not a crime to make false statements? Btw I tried to setup a call with the Ontario Telehealth nurse as well as my daughter's family doctor but they have not replied back in 24 hours.

Now I am worried that there will be a permanent case or something on my record. What should I do so this doesn't keep happening.
