Howdy everybody, little bit of backstory, and I have authorization to share at least a little bit of the main happening that lead into my concerns.

Few years ago I left my home town on accusations with nobody bothering to ask my side outside of authorities proving my innocence, so on recommendation of same authorities, I left. Today (July 1st) I've received 4 messages from different people asking what is going on, as someone who has heard the accusations isn't bothering to ask my side and is slandering my name all through the town again.

Is there anything I can do or say besides what I've already tried doing? I've gone to authorities to proven my innocence, the alleged victim has even come out and said it never happened, yet so many have heard the truth with deaf ears. Is there anything in Canada I can do outside of MAYBE cease and desist? I don't even know if legal with stop these people. And murder is illegal
