Hello everyone. Yesterday I thought there was a hit-run situation that happened to me because of an SUV driver intentionally cut off and I did hear a sound that came from my car. Then the driver started to accelerate and I thought it was running away so I did start to chase the car. I knew it was a terrible decision and I shouldn't do that... And there was a cop suddenly popped up and gave me a "Careless Driving" ticket which is 6 demerit points and $490... My question is, what should I do? Do you think I should plead guilty and downgrade the ticket to something lower? Is it possible? What would you recommend? Thanks!
