Hey everyone, I was an Uber driver once upon a time til I landed a career job. When I was a Uber driver I had a girl who reported me to the police that I touched her legs. She reported to the police basically 1 month after the incident . Basically, police contacted me and told me not to be doing that to any passengers as I can potentially be charge with a crime. The girl mother wanted to charge me but the daughter said it’s ok just let police talk to me.. I had a dashcam in a car but it deleted after the space is full so I can’t provide any evidence. The police asked me where was she sitting and I told an officer that she sat in the back of my car when the service took place. She also reported me to Uber and Uber suspended my account and gave her a full refund. After I told Uber that out of 7000 people I serve 1 reported that I committed such an act .. anyway. I’m not charge and the police interaction is on my file, I found this out when I had to go get a different criminal record check.. I’m not looking for any regal advice here but just some insight on what I can do to go after her. I remember that she does not have a job and was on her way to a friend playing video game. I do plan on taking an legal action on defamations and stress. I’m a Marry man with children and all I wanted to do was making extra money.. thanks for the advice in advance and sorry if my spelling and grammar is not perfect….
