Employer refusing Severance

Post Body

Hello Reddit, hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

My employer terminated me because of a non job related incident at my part time job May 17th (Started February 10th) She is claiming that I was terminated on May 7th and that I am 2 days shy of the 90 day probation period. I have proof of my start and termination days and when I (very calmly and politely) told the person on payroll this and that I am supposed to be getting severance, she filed a police report for harassment!

What is my recourse? How do I go about getting my severance, and should I be worried about the police report? I have a friend who was there with me for the phone call to verify and it was on speaker phone

Thanks in advance for any help or advice!
