i got a job at kings bowling and entertainment my first day of orientation was today Wednesday at 4 pm i showed up at 3:50 and the manager pulls me aside to tell me that he has been calling me (3 times) and emailing me (1 time) all weekend. After my initial interview on friday of last week he welcomed me to the team and told me he was going to SPECIFICALLY send me an email containing a simple questionnaire that i had to fill out before orientation day so all day friday i waited all day saturday and all day sunday i waited for a email and nothing throughout the weekend me and some buddies were in tampa celebrating a friends birthday and i was receiving mass amounts of scam calls over 10 at least so i very well could’ve missed his calls but my question is does he have the right to essentially fire me before my first day of orientation just because i didnt answer any of his calls over the weekend ? just looking for a legal way to go about this
