Post Body

My husband and I got married in WA state 4 years ago. We own a rental property together in WA and would like to continue to own it together and split the mortgage payments and profits. We want to get divorced without lawyers because we agree on everything and have already divided up cash and assets evenly. I moved to NY 4 months ago but we never filled out any separation documents. My question is, what is the cheapest and fastest way for us to be officially divorced? What paperwork do we fill out and what state does it make more sense to file in? Will I need to go to WA or can this be done from NY?
