Can I quit my job without paying back my sign on bonus?
Post Body
I started a new job 4 months ago. For personal reasons, I cannot continue. I was given a 10k sign on bonus upfront which I get to keep if I stay there for a year. If not, I have to pay it back. Is there any way I can avoid paying it back? The contract says it doesnโt matter if I leave voluntarily or I am terminated. I work remotely from New York and the office is in California.
