I was involved in a snowboarding accident last year in January and I almost died. I was headed down from work and luckily I was in the clock when this occurred. A skier collided with me as I was technically down hill from him so I had the right of way. I am now disabled and have had 4 very invasive surgeries and I won’t ever function like I used too. Of course I am a workman’s comp case and that has been extremely helpful and what they have covered is incredible. Is there some sort of settlement I can make with the place I work I’m very uncertain on steps to take or if there even are any? I’m not interested in suing the skier as it was just really a freak accident and I’m not trying to cause trouble with him. Thanks
