Military spouse/active duty/custody step kids to military member
Post Body

Long story short:

Current husband was in the military and got out. But now he needs to go back. For a few reasons to finish his last 8 years, we can’t afford insurance in the civilian world for 6 kids and ourself.

My ex husband doesn’t see the kids, I have full physical custody, legal custody. He had supervised visitation but blew that. Cps just labeled him as a maltreator for giving the kids alcohol during his week during the summer that was suppose to be supervised by his mother on her property (obviously that didn’t go like it was suppose to) so now he doesn’t have visitation at the center or at all. Left him due to domestic violence and alcoholism to start and have been in this battle since 2017.

Any realistic change of me being able to take the kids and follow him active. He got out and was in the guard strictly because of everything that was going on with the kids in court but he’s postponed his life this long so we are just trying to get a realistic point of view on the chance I have.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Edited to add

Also to add he doesn’t pay child support is over 12 k in arrears and doesn’t provide insurance as court ordered nor stay sober like court ordered with kids aka he’s a total deadbeat
