A few people had recommended that I contact the police when she comes back again, so I called my friend who's dad works at the local police department and he agreed to come over on his lunch break around the time the woman usually shows up, and sure as it was she did.

And some questioning and other stuff it turns out this woman has some issues I rather not mention due to it being her business and because of such she could only remember that the father of her daughter lived at my house before we moved in a few years back.

Her story is a little sad because the father had taken the child due to her declining health and it just happened fate conspired that I was caught up in it.

I didn't press charges and the woman is now in the care of her other family members. Thank you for all the advice you gave me.
