HOA loop hole maybe?

Post Body

I recently got a letter in the mail from my HOA that says my South Carolina flag is not allowed (I live in South Carolina) But in the wording of the rule I don’t see anything that states ONLY the American flag can be displayed or that my flag is not allowed. I see it says the American flag can be flown without any approval but doesn’t state any other info about other flags. Is there maybe a loop hole here? Thanks for your help.

Rule: B. A United States of America flag shall be permitted without declarant or board approval upon the condition that the flag must be up to three by five in size, posted on a pole attached at a forty five degree angle from the unit.

The A) rule is about sports flags. And this is all the info stated about flags.

Thanks.
