A coworker that I had a starting business venture with who refused to sign paperwork a service agreement with me and a vendorship with another partner that would outline each of our legal responsibilities towards this new business. She also refused to provide a valid business license and told us she was not filing taxes on her sales which were being made online via several marketplace sites. Since she refused to put down in paper what she had verbally said and agreed to I removed myself from the venture. Since then she decided at work to spread rumors, defame my good name and bring others names involved in slanderous lies to bring reproach on myself when I decided to pull out of the investment/venture. has been causing havoc at my place of employment where we both work and I need to know what legal recourse I can pursue either with the companies corporate hr office or an civil case matter.
