Does at will employment effect getting let go for a medical reason?
Post Body

MI -I haven’t been let go but I was in the ER yesterday from having trouble breathing. I told my boss via email (I work from home) I also told my immediate team via email. I get back home and I finish work for the day. Well because something happened while I was off the clock sick today my “team” member escalated it very high up and I got reprimanded for not forwarding something to someone while I was out to run something along. A deadline had to be pushed out 2 days because of this and I was written up and given a verbal warning. Now I’m emotional from being sick but If this leads to a termination do I have a case? I’m tempted to send documentation to HR as a response to the write up with my discharge paperwork.

***edit question makes it sound like for a medical reason but rather a mistake that happened due to a medical reason
