Post Body

I got stitches on may of 2021. Nothing major, didnt have to take time off. I paid for health insurance through my work. Filled out paper work for work comp. Even had someone from the insurance company come and look at me, talk about the injury. In oct of 2021 i ended my employment and my health insurance ended as well.

On 12/2021 and jan of 2022 i got billed for an almost 500 dollar bill from the urgent care. Do i have to pay this? Ive been told by others that this is illegal, is that true. From what i read online it is. Do i have a case or have to get an attorney? I tried calling the insurance but they just jump my from phone number to number but no real solutions.
