Hey guys. I need some serious help. My girlfriend lives in Florida. She lives in an apartment. Her apartment complex has been horrible with her. They don’t come in to do maintenance when things break. They also did some work on the unit above her which lead to concrete falling through the ceiling which in turn damaged her personal belongings. She lost 3 pairs of shoes and 2 handbags. All equaling over $1000. Then on top of that. When she reported her findings. The next day they cut her internet wire which left her out of 50 hours of work (she works from home). She has been asking for compensation and help from her complex since the first week of December 2021. We are now heading toward Feb 1. The corporate office has not responded to any of these issues and they expect her to fully pay her rent. What can we do ? Please I need all the help I can get here. It’s getting out of hand.
