Can a doctor refuse to let me have a support person in the room during a procedure if I’m a minor?

I am a 17F, and my boyfriend is also 17. Next week I have to get a very invasive test (urodynamics) done at a hospital. I have PTSD related to medical trauma, and this test is always very very triggering and has resulted in violent panic attacks every time I have it done. I break out in hives, dissociate, tremors, everything that comes with panic attacks.

My question is, can my doctor refuse to let me bring my boyfriend in the room since we are both minors? Their visitation policy says nothing about age of visitors and says two support people are allowed with you due to covid and everything. Since this test involves the pelvic area and though I will be covered, I’m concerned they will refuse to let me have him there because of the nature of the test. My mom will also be there with both of us. If this is relevant, I am also in a state where the age of consent is 16 so my boyfriend has already seen my body and things like that.

Am I allowed to refuse treatment if they won’t let him come back? Can they refuse to let me have him in the room with me?
