Hey! Hoping to get some insight!
So I work as an ski instructor at a ski resort.
We’re looking at unionizing or something.
We don’t get paid for gearing up/lunch/walking to/from locker rooms while at work. No helmets provided. Or any other gear that gets torn up in a season or two.
It’s not like they don’t make enough - each kid is paying roughly $300 per day. With anywhere from 2-10 kids/adults it’s crazy to me we get a measly pay check even with professional certifications.
How do we do this? Can we get fired? How do the leaders remain anonymous?
Please let me know!
