So I'm 22 about to turn 23 Saturday. 2 days ago I took about 2mg of Xanax, I can't remember why I even left the house in the first place but I ended up blacking out. All I remember is being on my phone then the airbags went off and I think I knocked out for a second. The next thing I remember is looking over to the sidewalk and see around 5-10 people looking at me and asking if I'm okay. The cops were there already and asked if I drank or took Xanax. I admitted to Xanax and they took my blood. I've only just began my research but I saw in California they need consent first before taking my blood and they didn't so I'm not sure how much that is going to help my case. I ended up totaling my car and pretty badly hit one car and it ended up hitting the car in front of it. They arrested me and I was in jail for the night as well. I'm completely broke so I was thinking of getting a loan for a car to at least get to work.

I've never been in a situation like this nor would I have ever thought of being in one. My family is disappointed in me and I honestly don't know what to do. I need to follow up with the case in about a week so I would like some advice on how to follow up with this. Anything would help as I feel completely lost..
