I got a ticket for possession of alcohol under 21 and so I plead guilty and mailed it In. I got a response today and I don't know if it is about the ticket or what but it says the following "Next scheduled date: 12/14/2021 last scheduled date: November 16, 2021

Please note the change to your scheduled court appearance date. As you are a minor, a parent or guardian must be present in court with you for your arrangement. A public defender will also be present on the above date. The court apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this change." So is this letter a reply to me mailing my ticket in or is this just a letter that is unrelated to me mailing it in. So far my parents don't know anything about this and I would like to keep it that way unless absolutely necessary. I'm also 17 btw. I'm also in New York but not in the city
