If my landlord responds to my polite request to not physically assault me by threatening to evict me, is that its own civil/criminal charge outside of just physical assault?
Post Body
Topic. I'm in Indiana. Basically my landlord tried to physically remove me from a verbal confrontation I was having by tugging on my arm. No marks were left but he did confess to it. The next day I politely asked him not to do that again and he immediately responds with threatening to evict me if I don't accept that. I know this story sounds strange but I swear it's the truth.
Sorry if I messed up again and this needs to go to legaladviceofftopic, I'm just not quite sure where the line is drawn.
