So I had lodged a formal complaint for a co worker hitting me among other things and out in my 2 weeks.
I come in the next day and the manager shows me getting a water cup, drinking it and throwing it away before I’d gone into the hr meeting.
I’d explained to him I know we get free drinks and I’d forgotten my cup that day, and when I first started co workers had told me it’s ok to get a water cup, i see people do it all the time I told him I would pay for it, he said it’s too late your a thief and your fired.
I don’t care about my hr complaint anymore I just want to know if I can defend myself in court for a 75 cent water cup or have I just boned myself.
