Wife's company not paying maternity leave
Post Body

So my wife and I had twins last Thursday. We live in Oklahoma. She's been charged for short term disability the entire time she's worked at this company. (2 1/2 years). We've been trying to get pregnant so she specifically signed up for it on purpose. Now that she's had the babies and went on maternity leave they can't find where she signed up for it. We live in Tulsa. This company has screwed over her co workers by not paying unemployment when they laid off a girl. They said that she quit after giving her a small severance. They've done shady stuff before but there was no time to go to a new job and get fmla in time. We live in Tulsa, Ok. What should we do and what type of lawyer or are there any actual recomended lawyers? We don't have a lot of money and weren't expecting twins so we can't afford a crazy expensive lawyer but we also can't afford to not get her paid time off. Any help is greatly appreciated.
