I posted earlier, I’ll try to touch on some points. In a nutshell, my brother decided to purchase a home but lacked the money for a deposit. I was planning a trip abroad and had to have someone (that I trusted, jokes on me) to take the money and give it to him. Let’s call that person Bob, I added him as an authorized user. Ironically, Bob also needed money as well. I explained to him, I couldn’t at the time, however.

We reached a compromise, I asked my brother who I loaned the money out for the house to pay Bob instead of me. So, Bob would have his money without me having to tap into my savings. In my head this was a win win. I trusted Bob like a brother, he was family. Anyway, Bob has a major civil rights suit against a city and has depleted all his finances and put his house on the line.

I did instruct him to take out 7k for my brother -which I can prove- but ended up taking out an additional 15k- for himself. Originally, I didn’t want Bob to lose his home, his future and so on over this. But I find out that his case got pushed back and he has been sitting on the money plus making more with his side business. So I’m pissed and involving the police is no longer off the table.

I don’t know what are my options here and hope someone can help me out.
