Today I had an interview with Health & Human Services, and during the interview I was asked about vehicles registered in my name - I told her the make, model, and year of my vehicle, and she asked about the one that was registered in September of 2020. I said I don't know, it's certainly not mine. She knew the make, model, and year of the car and that it was registered in my full name to my PO box. She finally believed me when I convinced her it wasn't my car and I have absolutely no information about it. After the interview was finished, I called the DMV for my county and explained the situation, and was told they can't do anything without knowing the VIN or plate number (which I don't have because I don't know anything about this car). What are my options moving forward here? What can I do to find out more about this and get it straightened out? Thank you in advance!
