Paying court fees and DMV late fees

I had a charge in NC, i live in maryland. and was late on my court fees because i was unaware i wasn’t allowed to send in a personal check. I paid my DMV late fees, and am waiting for my court fees to go through. the charge carried a 180 day suspension. the court has it reduced, so there is no suspension but the dmv does not have that on record, saying that will go through once my court fees are paid. does paying my Dmv fees before my court fees make it so my charge isn’t reduced? my court fees should go through within the next day or two.
