Greetings Legal Sages, my wife and I created a notarized legal separation document establishing custody rights and seperation of financial obligations/resources.
Within is detailed that while we have joint custody that our son lives with me and that I have primary Residential custody and have priority in decisions regarding our child's education/health etc.
Lately my wife has been threatening during tantrums to divorce. If divorce proceedings were to take place, how influential are the guidelines later out in the Legal Seperation? Is it garbage or should the terms carry over? Thanks.
Edit: New Jersey
