Hello everyone!
Thank you for taking the time to read this post.
Names have been changed and I tried to keep it as simple as possible!
My grandparents owned a home, and both passed away.
They had two children (Kerry and Todd)
My Grandparents specifically left the entire home to Kerry (itâs clearly stated in the will)
Kerry never transferred the home to her name (itâs still in my grandparentâs name even today)
Kerry passed away a few years ago.
In Kerryâs will, she said she wanted Toddâs son to have the home; however she never changed the name from her parents.
Toddâs wife knows where the will is, but âforgot.â
1) Whose home is it?
2) Toddâs or Toddâs son?
3) Whatâs the course of action if Toddâs son wanted to claim whatâs legally his? How does he find a copy of the will?
Thank you so much for your time!!!
