Hey y'all so long story short i stayed at a cheap motel in washington dc (i live in ct in the us) that charged me a damage deposit they said would be refunded, it's been a week and the money hasn't been refunded into my bank account yet. I called and they said it would take a few business daya which i understand. I plan to wait another day or so jic.

My question is, legally, is there a way i can ensure that they refund me? Also, basically not really should i be concerned but more so at what point SHOULD i be concerned?
