I caught Covid at work right around the time my newborn was born, would I have a case if he were to catch it and die.
Post Body

I am in Jackson, MS. My employer is based out of Memphis, TN. If my newborn were to catch it, hopefully not. And something happened to him. Once again hopefully nothing comes of this but if he were to die as a direct result from me catching Covid from work(I know it's from there because one of my employees who I was in close proximity to tested positive) would I have grounds for a suit. The child is 2 weeks old and I am terrified that I may have already given it to him. I dont know if me or my wife would be mentally prepared to lose a child. I know asking makes me sound like a douche or shallow person I just dont know what kind of mindset I will be in if that did happen and would not like to be dicked around by my company after the fact. So I would like to have some info to prepare just in case. Sorry for the long rant just concerned about my families welfare and what may happen to them.
