Hey guys,
First time post here but its needed, TLDR at bottom. For reference this is in Indiana, but the company is head quartered in Illinois. My fiance and I are freshly engaged and we both have some really great opportunities in Florida(we will be out of our current place on the 18th of this month). We signed a lease in February and it was a 12 month. Now what I was told last week was we give a 30 day notice of leave and then pay out the remaining month(June), and the the two month rent break fee. We called again today to see when we could come in to do that since the office is closed from the virus. This time the lady told us that is not what happens. Since the 30 day notice stretches across two months we are required to pay a total 4 months, two rent, two for the fee. And the lady(not the property manager) is adament it is required. However in the relevant section of our lease(linked below) it does not even touch this. So am I right to assume we do not have to pay for 4 months, but rather June and the two month break lease fee?
TLDR: I think my property management company is trying to scam me. And I think my lease proves it by not touching on my situation at. They cannot charge me for something that is not in the signed lease right?

EDIT: They also mentioned the will not prorate anything which, if I just paid for June, I'd be fine with, but if they were actually right, which I do not think they are, they would refuse to prorate for maybe 10ish days. Of the next month. Even if the 30 days just covered the first of next month they would make us pay for that entire month as well.
