Question regarding cottage laws

Hi, i've got a question regarding cottage laws and business location.
I currently live in ct in the us and we have no cottage laws here. I am trying to start a bath product business and i am wondering if i can produce my goods in my own home in ct, and then sell them in surrounding states that DO have cottage laws. Does anyone have any insight on this, or could perhaps direct me to some information?
