I lose shit a lot, I drink and stuff. My 'friend' who I have known for years is a bartender at the local pub.

I lost my I'd and debit card some time ago, cancelled the debit card and have since got a new one. I still haven't found my drivers license.

A week ago his landlord said she saw my Arizona ID in his room and described it in detail to me. I brought it up to him and he shrugged it off and said maybe he picked it up off the bar floor. A week ago he said yes he has it and he will get it back to me.

Since then he wont answer my texts, avoids me and on the rare occasion I see him gets defensive.

I dont understand why he would refuse to give it back, it cant be doing him much good, but I need to take a few flights and I need my ID back, should I involve the police? How do I go about this?
