I’m 23 y/o and have worked at camps for the past few years. I wanted to try a new camp for the coming summer and applied to a Christian based one in Texas. I get an interview over face time and I assumed I may have to answer questions about religion, but nothing prepared me for what was to come. The interviewer asked if I thought a topic was wrong or right as he brought up abortion, homosexuality, alcohol consumption, pornography, tattoos, and a few others. At the end of the interview he picked apart my thoughts on homosexuality (I said it was okay and nothing wrong with it) and argued against with scripture and talked about conversion therapy . Afterwards I knew I didn’t want the job or to be apart/ associated with an employer. I thought harder and realized that those questions weren’t professional and maybe borderline illegals. Should I talk to EOCC or a lawyer about any steps I can take to assure this camp stops the inappropriate questions during the interview?
