So I’ve been living with my roommate for a couple months and we’ve only really had one argument except when he complains about me going out with friends and not just sitting at home all the time. This last week I had to go to the mental hospital because I ran out of meds and was having suicidal thoughts. He said he’d pick me up and we even had a session while I was in there and everything seemed fine and the plan was to go back and still live there. When I got discharged from the hospital I didn’t want to wait all day to get picked up so I had my parents pick me up. I ended up staying at my parents a couple nights because I was feeling sick and actually have strep. Anyway I told him I was getting dropped off tonight and he said I had to pay him $60 because I owe him that. The thing is, this was never brought up before and I don’t have $60. I’m struggling a lot with mental health issues and part of our agreement was that he would pay for rent and utilities and even help me with necessities and not to worry about paying him back. We’ve been friends for a while and he knows I struggle a lot. But now he’s acting like I’ve just been taking advantage of him the whole time but I didn’t even do that I literally do everything I can to help. But he took my keys when I left for the hospital and my name isn’t on the lease but all my stuff is there and I have nowhere to live (parents won’t let me stay with them) so idk what to do. I have work tomorrow and all my clothes are in there too. I literally don’t know what to do I don’t even really want to live with him anymore if he’s gonna act like that but idk what I can do. I’m also in Illinois if that helps.
