Post Body

Hey sorry about the format I'm on mobile. So I recently applied for a new apartment and was told that my rental credit had a negative charge against it from my old apartment. I went to the old apartment and it shows I had a balance for month to month fee and rent and late charges. Now the only statement I had from the old apartment the month before I moved showed a $50 charged every month presumably for the past year for not having rental insurance which I had and gave physical and digital copies to the apartment complex. This adds up to about $600. My lease was for 12 months and I moved in april 28th of 2017, on the ledger I received it says my lease ended march 27th of 2018 so I was charged for a month to month basis. It also stats I never turned in a notice of moving out which I did, but was conveniently lost. What are my options Edit I currently live in north Mississippi
